My main career goals are into the field of wildlife conservation and disease management. However, I am also interested in Zoological medicine and research to contribute to the conservation of wild species.
I completed my Degree in Veterinary Science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB, Spain) in 2016. Since then, I focused my career goals into the wildlife and Zoo animal medicine and research. I have performed my last year degree practical stage in South Africa enjoying from high quality research and fieldwork with the University of Pretoria Faculty of Veterinary Science to great zoological medicine practice in the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa.
Afterwards I completed an M.Sc. on Zoonoses and One Health focusing my final thesis on ciguatera risk analysis in the Mediterranean sea. Before joining the Wildlife Population Health internship with Wildcom I performed a one-year Clinical internship based on Exotics animal medicine in the Fundació Hospital Clínic Veterinari from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
