Overview
Graduated in June 2024 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. From my first professional steps, I have combined clinical practice with a growing interest in wildlife and its conservation, a field that has led me to seek experiences related to research and fieldwork.
Background
Before joining WildCoM, I worked in emergency care and in a small animal hospital, and I participated in various projects and volunteer programs related to wildlife and marine fauna, such as CRAM and the Torreferrussa Wildlife Center, as well as a placement at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Cyprus. These experiences have allowed me to acquire a solid practical foundation and to understand the importance of an integrative approach to animal health and conservation.
I am currently joining WildCoM as an intern, with the aim of deepening my involvement in research on wildlife population health, taking part in field projects, sampling, and research activities within the framework of Conservation Medicine and the One Health concept. At the same time, I continue to expand my training in ecology and marine biology, areas that particularly interest me and that I consider key to addressing current conservation challenges.
This stage with WildCoM represents an opportunity for me to continue growing as a professional, learn in an interdisciplinary environment, and contribute to projects with a real impact on wildlife conservation.
